Louise is currently Coordinator of Experiential Education, with responsibility for Round Square, global exchanges and international partnerships at St. Clement[?]s School, she teaches geography and has responsibility for the School[?]s risk management policies. Louise has an undergraduate degree in geography, PGCE in geography, MSc in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management, and is a PhD candidate at UCLAN, with a focus on the epistemology and utilization of risk in global cultural exchanges, and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. She is a member the executive committee of the Experiential Educators Network, organizing the annual conference for experiential educators in the Ontario independent school sector. She was lead researcher and writer for the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools [?]Standard for Off-site Excursions[?] which was distributed Canada-wide. Louise is the founder of Melville Risk Consulting and offers risk training and consulting service to schools and organizations.
