Greg Reid joined the faculty of St. Andrew's College in 2000 as Director of Athletics, was promoted to Assistant Headmaster - School Life & Operations in September 2012, and is currently transitioning to the role of Executive Director of Advancement and President of the SAC Foundation.
Greg attended Queen’s University where he completed B.A., B.P.H.E. and B.Ed. degrees while playing varsity lacrosse. He subsequently completed an M.Ed. degree in Educational Administration at OISE, University of Toronto. He is a graduate of the CAIS Leadership Institute and the CAIS Next Steps program.
Prior to St. Andrew's, Greg taught for ten years with York Region District School Board. His teaching experiences have included physical and health education, outdoor education, special education, cooperative education, mathematics, geography, English and science. He is a past Co-Chair of the Conference of Independent Schools’ Athletic Association (CISAA) and served on the CAIS Athletic Directors’ Executive Committee.
Greg has been the Head Coach of St. Andrew's Varsity Lacrosse team since 2004, and is an assistant coach with SAC's Varsity B Hockey team. He holds multiple coaching certifications as well as qualifications in scuba, canoeing, and challenge course management.
Greg's partner Chryssi is an elementary school teacher, and they have two sons: Bowen (SAC '15, Queen's '19) and Brayden (SAC '18).
