45 minute session

We live in an increasingly complex society, and yet our basic human desire to be connected to others continues to be one of our most pervasive needs. Creating a coaching culture is a wonderful antidote for the difficulties facing the realities of leading and working in the twenty-first century. A coaching culture favours a growth mindset , a development-focused style of leadership, and a desire to become spectacularly curious. With coaching taking root in your school culture, your faculty and staff become increasingly self-resourced and are more likely to resolve issues independently, ask for support at the right time, admit mistakes, take risks, and tap into their own potential. In this roundtable participants will have the unique opportunity to actually participate in a coaching conversation, steeped in the core principles of coaching, while discussing the very topic they are curious about- creating coaching cultures of wellbeing in schools. They will also grasp a deeper understanding of what coaching is, how it can be beneficial in an educational environment, and how it can enable employees to flourish and influence the culture of their school.
